The center invites all new and returning students, affiliate faculty, and friends to its Fall 2018 orientation reception on Friday, August 24 from 11:00am to 2:00pm in the Tokioka Room on the 3rd floor of Moore Hall. Oceania on the Reel Spring 2018: “Anointed”
Please join us for the third installment of Oceania on the Reel: Spring 2018 Film Series.
There has been a change to our line up for April 14, and we are proud to announce the screening of a new short film “Anointed” featuring the work of acclaimed poet Kathy Jetnil-Kijiner and film maker Daniel Lin. The film examines the enduring legacy of nuclear testing in the Marshall Islands. Both Kathy and Daniel will join us for the event, and they look forward to engaging with the audience. ACT Fiji
ACT Fiji uses creative arts to advocate on social issues, empowering youth to be change makers and address social issues in their community. Come learn about locally led and organized community justice movements in Fiji, and how you can be a part of it all through study abroad opportunities at the University of the South Pacific.
The talk will be held March 15, 2018, 2:30 – 4:30 pm at QLCSS 411 on the UH Mānoa campus
