Advising

Students must seek advisement prior to beginning their respective programs in Pacific Islands Studies, and throughout the course of their studies. Advisers assist with planning course schedules, ensuring all program requirements are met, and any other needs students may have specific to succeeding in their chosen degree programs. We encourage students to seek advisement early on, and to stay in close contact with their advisers each semester as they progress through their studies. Schedule an appointment with an adviser today!

Undergraduate Adviser

Dr. Julie Walsh is the academic advisor to the PACS undergraduate majors. Advising for all majors is offered prior to registration for the upcoming semester. Semester elective options are circulated in advance while regularly offered courses are visible in students’ STAR options.
