Michelle Harangody is the Program Coordinator for a collaborative initiative with the Department of Asian Studies advancing AAPI voices in environmental humanities and environmental justice. Michelle holds a BA and MSc from the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science and a MA from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She is a PhD candidate in human geography at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her research interests include marine policy and conservation, coral reef management, political ecology, and community resilience.
