Congratulations to Tuiloma Dr. Manumaua Luafata Simanu-Klutz, or Fata, as she is widely known, on her recent achievement of tenure with automatic promotion to Associate Professor! Fata is Associate Professor of Samoan Language and Literatures in the Department of Indo-Pacific Languages and Literatures at UH Manoa. She is also a CPIS graduate and CPIS affiliate faculty. She completed an MA in Pacific Islands Studies at CPIS in 2001, and later completed a PhD in Pacific History at UH Manoa in 2011.
