First Saturday Community Work Days are a Ka Papa Loʻi ʻo Kānewai tradition going back to 1980 and the revitalization of the current taro patch. The lo‘i provides light fefreshments for volunteers to enjoy.

Bring: Slippers (easy to rinse off), T-shirt and shorts (to get dirty), hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and snacks
