Proposed Administrative Rules Changes


The University of Hawai‘i published a notice of repeal on April 28, 2017 of Chapters 20-17 Collection of Voluntary Contributions, 20-20 Protection of Educational Rights and Privacy of Students, and 20-42 Hawai‘i State Postsecondary Review Program, Hawai‘i Administrative Rules (HAR). Pursuant to Section 91-6, Hawai‘i Revised Statutes, the thirty day period to petition the University Board of Regents regarding the proposed repeals expired on May 31, 2017. These repeals are currently pending Governor's final approval.

The University of Hawai‘i published a notice of repeal on May 26, 2017 of Chapters 20-16 Personal Records and 20-24 University-Owned Faculty Housing Units, Hawai‘i Administrative Rules (HAR). Pursuant to Section 91-6, Hawai‘i Revised Statutes, any interested person may petition the University Board of Regents regarding the proposed repeals of Chapters 20-16 and/or 20-24 by submitting a written petition to the Board of Regents at 2444 Dole Street, Bachman Hall 209, Honolulu, Hawai‘i 96822 no later than June 30, 2017.
