About Viewing Statistics:
Sometimes an instructor may want to display quiz and survey results analyzing means and standard deviation for each question. Summaries, Details, and Results can be viewed either from within WebCT OR from Respondus (a tool for UH faculty and staff for creating assessment offline). Keep in mind that viewing statistics for quizzes is more detailed than viewing those for surveys since surveys are not scored.

Viewing Student Quiz/Survey Statistics:
Enter the assessment or evaluation area of the course (you should see the entire listing of all quizzes/surveys), under the title for a quiz/survey click "Detail" button.

If you get a prompt that "The results are out of date. Under "Options: Manage Columns", click "Update Table".

Click on the links for “Summary” at the top of each column to review submitted responses for each question. Summaries can be printed using your browsers print function.

Now go to Reports, by clicking the button on top of the Detail table for "Reports". Reports will allow you to view Distribution table (mean and standard deviation).

Over to the right, under Options, select the radio button for either "Summary Statistics" or "Item statistics" and click “Display Report” button

To view detailed Distribution table (whole group/upper/lower % correct, discrimination, mean and standard deviation) click on “Summary". Each table can be printed using your browsers print function.
