Professor Emeritus PAT HICKMAN remains fully engaged as an artist and educator since retirement. 2017 was a full year while she lectured and taught in California, Minnesota, and Washington State. Highlights also include two solo exhibition in Durango, Colorado.
Still Here at the Fort Lewis College Art Gallery, and Here Still at the Durango Art Center, the Friends of the Art Library. Pat writes, "Being able to exhibit 42 of my works in excellent gallery space was deeply satisfying. I could see the unifying threads in this visual progression of work over 40 years. I grew up in Colorado, and the exhibitions offered me the opportunity to reflect on the impact place has had on my art work."
