BA (art history + studio)
All BA ART majors must enroll in ART 409 and submit a graduation portfolio as part of their degree requirements. Portfolios are due no later than the last day of instruction of the graduating semester, and should be submitted via the course Laulima page.
A BA (Art History) Portfolio should include a resume, 3 to 5 course papers. All text documents should be in PDF formats.
A BA (Studio Art) Portfolio should include a resume, 10 to 12 digital images of artwork (produced primarily in 300-level course or above), and an image inventory.
BFA
A BFA Portfolio should include a resume, 10 to 12 digital images of artwork (produced primarily in 300-level course or above), and an image inventory. The BFA capstone seminar instructor will arrange with the Associate Chair to set up submission of portfolios via Laulima in the final week of the semester.
Submission Formats
Image Portfolio should be formatted and submitted as one single pdf. Each image should be labelled with a number corresponding to the image inventory. Image inventory should include identifying name, title, date, medium, size, year. Time- or Web-Based Work, Video, Sound, and Animation should be submitted as links to Vimeo or Youtube and must be publicly accessible. Provide URLs for web-based works.
