YONGSHENG YANG returned to China after attaining his MFA 4 years ago. He has been a full time professional artist with a studio at the Beijing Songzhuang Artist village. He also continues to occupy a position at the Qujing Arts Institute in Yunnan, an art/research unit support by the local government. Since graduation Yang has had two solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions in Beijing. The image below is of his recent solo Series of Surface at Songzhuang 110 Gallery (Beijing).
