Jason Maddock
Department of Public Health Sciences and Epidemiology
An associate professor of public health sciences and epidemiology, Jason Maddock’s goal is to develop an integrated curriculum that enhances his student’s critical skills as future professional practitioners in the field of public health. His approach combines psychology, sociology, anthropology, political science and urban and regional planning into the study of health behaviors.
Maddock is the primary developer of two degree programs at Manoa—MPH/MS in social and behavioral sciences and the PhD in health promotion and health education.
His enthusiasm and commitment toward improving public health continues to inspire and excite his students.
