Apply Between December 10th, 2021- January 12th, 2022 – Travel costs and cultural excursions, food, and lodging (i.e., the registration fee) will be provided for 23 successful applicants from *Asia and 23 successful applicants from the USA (U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents).

*Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea. We especially encourage applications from women and students from the first 14 countries listed above (i.e., Afghanistan through Vietnam).

If you would like to self-fund attendance to the workshop you can pay a registration fee of $2,400 and pay for your own travel to the workshop. (Registration fee includes training and practice materials, food, lodging, and cultural excursions).

The University of Montana, in collaboration with the University of Putra Malaysia, Perdana University in Malaysia, the National University of Singapore, the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research of Singapore, and the National Super Computing Center of Singapore, is organizing two advanced studies workshops in computational biology. Each workshop will be two weeks long and will be held in 2022 and 2023. The workshops will cover topics in the analysis of sequence data, molecular modeling, molecular dynamics, and other current and advanced topics. Scientists from the USA, Europe, and Asia will be present as instructors at the workshops.
