MFA Alum ABI GOOD is leaving the island this July to embark on a four-month long trip across the US continent. Starting with a LAND/ART Site residency in Albuquerque, New Mexico supported by a Puffin Grant. The project will involve sculpting soil figures with the concept that immigration is a main function in the relationship between humans and the land.
The remainder of the journey will be spent zig-zagging the western US pursuing a new media-fusion project called Through the Oblivion Tube (performance/sculpture/photography). Bon Voyage ABI!
