PUBLIC ARTIST’S TALK BY KAILI CHUN

We invite you to attend the upcoming candidate presentation for the Assistant Professor of Kanaka Maoli/Native Hawaiian Visual Art! This event is open to the public.

Kaili Chun was born on Oʻahu, raised in Kāneʻohe and now resides in Nuʻuanu. She has an AB (Bachelor of Arts) degree in Architecture from Princeton University and an MFA from University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Additionally, she was an apprentice to master canoe builder and woodworker Wright Elemakule Bowman, Sr. Chun is a sculptor and installation artist who uses processes and materials that transform physical spaces into unique environments which comment on contemporary issues.
