DIANA EICHER (she/her) is a Queer visual artist, printmaker, papermaker, papercutter, and teaching artist whose work explores the intersection of identity, lived experience, and material process. Working in both printmaking and papermaking, she bridges the intimacy of solo studio practice with the energy of collaborative environments. Her work transforms personal narratives into tangible forms that invite connection, reflection, and dialogue. Diana received her MFA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1994 and specialized in printmaking.
Diana serves as Director of the Printmaking and Paper Studio at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design since 2003. She is an accomplished artist, incorporating printmaking, papermaking and fiber art into her practice. She is a member of the Speedball Professional Artists Network, and in 2025, she was awarded an Artist Residency at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis and received a Metropolitan Regional Arts Council Next Step Fund Grant.
