Honolulu Magazine recently featured an article on recent UHM BA recipient Dana Paresa. Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Paresa quickly found success after graduation in the local art scene with multiple solo gallery exhibitions and feature articles praising her work. Despite her success, Paresa moved to Portland, Oregon seeking a new start and fresh perspectives from those who don't know her personally. A daring move? We shall see.
