Recent MA alumna Monique D’Almeida worked for two years as a curatorial researcher at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA). She was part of a team that researched and designed a comprehensive site dedicated to teaching about Asian art at the K-12 level.
Monique writes, “My team and I strove to produce a product highlighting not only Asian art but also worked to provide an equitable look into the Asian diaspora. I had the pleasure to collaborate with museum professionals across the country and local educators.”
The Arts of Asia has recently launched and will continue to grow with additional contributions from Monique and her colleagues.
