HAWAI’I CRAFTSMEN ANNUAL EXHIBITION AND AWARDS

Held annually since 1967, the Hawai‘i Craftsmen Annual Statewide Exhibition of traditional and contemporary crafts brings a juror of international reputation to the state of Hawai‘i to jury entries and give public presentations on each island. This year’s exhibition features a large number of department alumni, current students, and current and former instructors.

At least half of the 2021 Hawai’i Craftsmen Awards which are part of the exhibition were won by current and former students and instructors, including several who completed their degrees in 2020 and 2021 under the adverse conditions brought on by COVID-19. We congratulate all the featured artists and award winners for their remarkable creativity through hard times.
