Based on the award-winning book by author/illustrator Anthony Browne, Gorilla is a fully realized piece of theater for young audiences. For younger audiences, the production will be an immersive adventure filled with wonder and beauty. For adults, Gorilla invites consideration of the incredible artfulness inherent in children’s literature and of the value in exposing young people to art-making in multiple ways. This production is a partnership between the departments of Art + Art History, Theatre + Dance, and Creative Media, UHM.
