BFA/MFA alumna Abigail Kahilikia Romanchak has been selected as a Joan Mitchell Fellow for 2024. These fellowships, awarded by the Joan Mitchell Foundation in memory of the eponymous twentieth-century painter (1925-1992), provide multi-year financial support, interwoven with regular opportunities for skills development, peer exchange, and network building — all critical resources that artists need to sustain their practices.
