UH Paining BFA, alumnus, Derwin Levia is exhibiting his paintings at the Guatemala Embassy the to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Art in US Embassies. He is pictured with United State Ambassador William W. Popp. He states, “As a Cuban-American I am interested in representing various aspects of Cuba including its society and cultural life. through the use of rhythm and motion in my paintings, I wish to mirror the experience of freedom found in Cuban music”
