WHAT DO I DO IF I...
...am experiencing sexual or gender-based harassment or mistreatment?
The Mānoa Advocate provides confidential assessment for UH Mānoa students, faculty and staff who are experiencing any form of sexual or gender-based discrimination or sexual misconduct. They can advise you as to your options and procedures.
...wish to file a grievance against a faculty or staff member or fellow student?
The Office of Student Conduct advises students on academic grievances and on violations of the student conduct code by fellow students. You can find out more about policies and procedures from the Student Success Office.
...am experiencing discrimination in an employment situation?
The EEO/AA office (Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action) handles employment complaints. Scroll to the bottom for student options.
Unsure? These and related issues can always be brought to the department chair, who will advise you on your options. Contact chairart@hawaii.edu, or stop by the departmental office.
