Copyright & Academia

September 21, 11:00am - 12:30pm
Honolulu Campus, Library (Building 7, 1st Floor)

The session will give legal guidance on copyright and discuss the uses that students and faculty can make of copyrighted materials. Those in attendance will learn the finer points of the Fair Use Doctrine and the Library Exception and will have a clearer sense of how their own uses of copyrighted materials (i.e. course reserves, courses packs, document uploads to course management systems, photocopying) comply with the law.
