The University Health Services, Health Promotion Program would like you to join us at our 2020 Condom Fair. The fair will be held on the day before Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 13th, 2020 from 10:30am – 1:30pm at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, Campus Center Courtyard.

The purpose of the Condom Fair is to promote a healthier lifestyle through the appropriate and consistent use of condoms, healthy sexual decision-making, and good communication. The Condom Fair is not meant to promote sexual activity; however for students who do choose to be sexually active, condoms are the safest way to protect against sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancies. The Condom Fair 2020 aims to educate students about healthy relationships in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

This year’s “Sweethearts and Candy” theme will offer educational activities such as the Condom Race, and “Pin the Condom on Jack.” Prizes and giveaways such as condom roses, condom lollipops, educational material, candy, and other fun Valentine’s Day items will also be available. This year, participants for the 2020 Condom Fair include these University of Hawai‘i at Manoa organizations: Counseling and Student Development Center, Department of Public Safety, Hui Ola Pono, KTUH, LGTQ+ Center, Manoa Now, Planned Parenthood’s Generation Action, and Women’s Center. Participants that are joining the 2020 Condom Fair from the community include: American Cancer Society, Be The Match Registry, Blood Bank of Hawaii, Hawaii Health Harm Reduction Center, Hawaii Women’s Health Research Center, Planned Parenthood Northwest and Hawaii Education Department, and Proud to be Pono.
