Native Stories exists to share the voices of those connected to the land. Nohea will share why Native Stories was created and the types of stories currently available. You will learn how authenticity, integrity and quality of content, as well as the protection of sacred content, is vetted in finding storytellers.

Nohea Hirahara Frizzell is the founder of Native Stories, a platform for audio storytelling for indigenous people. She went to high school at McKinley, and has a MS in Electric Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and Executive MBA from UH Manoa. She currently works at Hawaiian Electric as a Senior Program Manager at Hawaiian Electric in the Demand Response department.
