Join us for activities, displays, and talks for people all ages. For the keiki, we will have bottle-rocket launching, face painting, shows in the StarLab planetarium, sundial-making, Lego, and more!

Both children and adults will have the opportunity to "Ask an Astronomer." At the Fun with Physics booth, you can explore the laws of spinning objects. Check out how astronomers discover planets around other stars, and

This year’s guest organizations will include the Bishop Museum, the Hawaiian Astronomical Society, and the UH Bookstore. Also bringing interesting displays and activities are Gemini Observatory and the Thirty Meter Telescope.

The Spectroscopy School will teach you how astronomers measure the composition, temperature, and line-of-sight velocity of stars. If the sun and the weather cooperate, there will be sunspot observing in the courtyard.
