Rhodes Scholarship
The oldest international fellowship award funds a graduate degree from the University of Oxford. Rhodes Scholars from all fields of study are chosen for their outstanding scholarly achievements, character, commitment to others and the common good, and potential for leadership. Marshall Scholarship
One to two years of graduate study at a university within the United Kingdom are sponsored by this scholarship. Marshall Scholars from all fields of study are selected based on academic merit, leadership potential, and ambassador potential. Website: http://www.marshallscholarship.org/
Luce Scholars Program
This program offers 13 months of experiential learning in Asia for students with limited exposure to Asia (no Asian Studies majors; spent no more than 12 weeks in Asia). Luce Scholars, picked for their capacity for leadership, record of high achievement, and potential for future accomplishments, are individually placed in organizations/institutions that fit their interests and goals. Fulbright Program
This program offers scholarships for U.S. students to conduct research or teach English overseas. The Fulbright Program provides individuals chosen for their leadership potential with the opportunity to observe one another's political, economic, and cultural institutions, exchange ideas, and embark on joint ventures of importance to the general welfare of the world's inhabitants. It is a flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
