Succulents are resilient, low maintenance, and come in a variety of vibrant colors and unique forms making them excellent year-round plants perfect for home gardening. Join Mark Daranciang of Once Again Hawaii as he guides you through succulent basics; including their growth habits, garden techniques, propagation of babies, the importance of using the right grow media, and continued care for your new garden. Get your hands dirty and plant a succulent garden of your own!

Cost: $40 (class fee plus supply fee)

Date & Time:  Saturday, June 30, 2018  9:30am-12:00pm

Location: Lyon Arboretum Visitor’s Center – Upstairs Classroom

Supplies: Bring a pot or vessel of your choice. The pot/vessel should have an opening of at least 4-6" for plant growth and must have a drainage hole. A planting vessel may be purchased on-site if you don’t have your own. Class instructor will be providing 3 succulents (to be selected upon arrival), Succulent growing media, and rock top-dressing to complete the composition of your garden.
