We are pleased to invite you to the November Distinguished Speaker Luncheon on Tuesday, November 15 from 12-1:30 in HIG 210. We will be joined by Jenny Engels (UHM Geology & Geophysics) and Micheline McManus (Faculty at ‘Iolani School) to talk about strategies for effective teaching, particularly in STEM, from graduate Teaching Assistantships to Faculty teaching positions. Activities will include active learning examples and team building exercises. Lunch will be provided to the first 20 registrants with vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and omnivore options from Sprouts Sandwiches in Kaimuki with support from the Student Activity and Program Fee Board.
