"Things Seen": Joseph Stanton Poetry Reading

The public is invited to attend "Things Seen: Joseph Stanton Poetry Ready," that is held on September 11, from 4:30-6Z:00 p.m. in The Art Gallery, UHM. Joseph Stanton, a professor of Art History and American Studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, reads from his new book of art-inspired poems, just published this year by Brick Road Poetry Press. Stanton will read poems inspired by paintings, fairy tales, and noh plays. Stanton’s new book, Things Seen, was a finalist in a national competition and was published earlier this year by Brick Road Poetry Press.

The poetry reading will take place in The Art Gallery, UHM, which currently features "Aesthetic Surplus Kompany Presents . . . "
