Illustrated talk: "Beyond Sound: Chinese Music Past and Present " by Beryl Yang, Lecturer, Kapi’olani Community College. She will discuss using music as a way to understand Chinese culture and politics in the 19th and 20th centuries. One in a series of special events relating to the EWC Gallery exhibition: “China through the Lens of John Thomson, 1869-1872”. Open through June 5, 2016 - September 11, 2016.
