The lush serenity at the base of Oʻahu’s Koʻolau mountains in Kāneʻohe provides a backdrop for Windward Community College’s supportive education in visual and performing arts, veterinary technology, natural and environmental sciences, Hawaiian studies and exploratory programs in marine and aerospace fields.

Education
Windward Community College provides a nurturing environment in which to pursue liberal arts, science and vocational studies. Many students transfer to 4-year institutions, with honors.
Setting
Nature meets tech at this lush, green campus, where modern facilities like the new Library Learning Commons, Palikū Theatre and Hōkūlani Imaginarium make use of the latest equipment in education technology.
Hands On
In field expeditions and in the labs, students receive “high-tech, high touch” skills training in geology, biotechnology, veterinary technology, Hawaiian studies, pre-nursing and pre-engineering.
Creative Culture
Unique among Windward’s Outreach programs, the Hawaiʻi Music Institute features local entertainers and industry professionals sharing their knowledge about music and the business of music.
