ADVANCE Kaulike Summit
October 22, 8:30am - 4:00pmMānoa Campus, Campus Center Ballroom
The ADVANCE Catalyst Kaulike team is humbled to invite the UH Mānoa Campus Community to the Kaulike Summit. The goal of the summit is to highlight equity efforts of the Mānoa campus community. The event is the culminating event for our research team that has been looking at inequities in advancement, acknowledgement, and support for our wāhine faculty and staff in STEM. In particular, we have been noting challenges experienced by our our kānaka ‘ōiwi, those with disabilities, and our LGBTQ+ colleagues. Other challenges have been experienced by faculty, staff, and graduate students who are parents and also elder care providers. There is a maximum of 300 attendees in the Campus Center ballroom, and we hope to welcome as many as possible. When registering, please let us know if you plan on attending for part of the day or the entire day so that we can best manage available seats.
