“Peacebuilding: Finding Common Ground” with José Barzola ------- Session: Join us to learn about the importance of developing healthy positive relationships through peacebuilding, as well as what peacebuilding means to José Barzola, and how central it is to his journey in life. Learn about the power of language, conflict styles, positive versus negative peace, coping strategies for managing conflict, and much more. ------- Speaker: José Barzola has a passion for creating social change through nonviolence, nurturing relationships that transcend cultural barriers, and focusing on issues of diversity, inclusion, and equity. He is a highly organized higher education administrator with 20 years of experience and success in administration, student development within academic and student affairs. José has also been an affiliate faculty teaching courses on peace and conflict transformation, a professional mediator and facilitator for over 10 years both in New York and Hawaii.
