Hawaii Materials Symposium

The UH College of Engineering and SOEST are hosting a free half-day Materials Symposium on the afternoon of Monday, September 25th, 2023, from 1:00 – 4:30 PM at the East-West Center's Imin Conference Center. bringing together members of the Hawaii community on the topic of materials science and engineering in Hawaii. UH students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend. The symposium agenda will include several introductory talks, a panel discussion on workforce needs for materials training, a student poster session, and a short breakout session for smaller group discussions on focused topics. There will also be unstructured time for networking and discussions during the student poster session and at the start and end of the event. Guests will be free to attend all or part of the event.
