Connections: How to Communicate with Youth and Build Trust

Join Kim Birnie (Papa Ola Lokahi), Momi Tolentino (Papa Ola Lokahi), and CJ Johnson (COVID-19 Community Outreach and Education) for a presentation on how to: 1. Understand innovative community-led and community-engaged outreach strategies to discuss vaccinations and other topics relevant to public health and wellbeing. 2. Consider and compare strategies to reach and engage Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander youth in social media platforms with linguistically and culturally grounded content. 3. Learn the importance of trust to these communications across outreach strategies.
