April 11, 9:30am - 11:30amMānoa Campus, Lyon Arboretum 3860 Manoa Rd.
Level up in your carnivorous plant knowledge! Join Lyon Arboretum’s Horticultural Manager, Timothy Kroessig, and other carnivorous plant enthusiasts for a morning information and plant swap. Tim is a member of the International Carnivorous Plant Society and has been growing various carnivorous plants for the last 5 years.
This workshop is intended for hobbyists that have experience with growing and maintaining various species of carnivorous plants. Participants will learn and share about propagation techniques, pollination biology, seed storage, and pest control strategies related to carnivorous plants. This workshop will also offer an opportunity to exchange carnivorous plant materials (plants, cuttings, seeds, books, growing media, etc.) with other CP growers in Hawaii, so please plan on bringing something to swap.
$10. To sign up, call 988-0456.
