Protecting your ideas: an intellectual property primer for startups

January 31, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Shidler College of Business Room E402

What is intellectual property (IP)? Did you know that IP can help you protect your brand, designs, and artwork from potential copycats and infringers?

Andrew Merickel, partner, and Wendy Peterson (BBA 1982), general counsel, at Knobbe Martens are making a special visit to campus to share their IP knowledge with you. Andrew focuses on helping clients build and leverage their patent portfolio and navigate the patent landscape in their technology area, while Wendy focuses on handling all of Knobbe Martens internal legal matters. Wendy is also a member of the PACE Board of Directors.
