Moana Lani Festival: Uniting to protect our heavenly ocean @ SALT our Kaka’ako July 13-15, 2018 The Moana Lani Festival is a platform for inspiring and educating the community to take action against modern day issues regarding our ocean, particularly, our coral reefs and marine life. In conjunction with Hawaii FEAST and the Zero Waste Summit hosted by Zero Waste O’ahu 1, the Moana Lani Festival aims to raise awareness about the importance of art activism in addition to providing an understanding of the Zero Waste initiative. SALT at Our Kaka’ako’s innovative and transformative space will help to host a festive environment that includes food, fashion, art and music. WHAT: A three-day event filled with interactive and community centered arts, music, and educational awareness activities by ocean wellness. As well as: - A FREE Event, open to the public - Allowing eco-friendly vendors and artists to sign up by 6/30/2018 through moanalanifestival@gmail.com - Welcoming all volunteers who are interested in participating WHERE: SALT at our Kaka’ako 691 Auahi St, Honolulu, HI 96813 WHO: We challenge all families, professionals, and students to join us in a global movement to raise awareness and act to protect our oceans, marine life, and coral reefs.
