Sustainable inland fisheries: Why are they so valuable?

Inland fisheries are a key component of food security for many people in developing countries, yet often these fisheries are no a part of the discussion on use in water ways. Beard will discuss the context of inland fisheries around the globe and show their value to food security and economic livelihoods.
