Before Glee, the Indian film industry already mastered the movie/TV musical format and genre. Bollywood, a portmanteau of "Bombay" and "Hollywood", refers to the universe of Indian cinema, a $4.5 billion dollar industry. With decades of dynamic growth and development comes a dance genre associated with Indian cinema - Bollywood dance.
Bring your lunch to the steps of the Campus Center Courtyard and watch Hindi language and dance students perform numbers they have been practicing with Hindi and Bollywood dance instructor Dr. Sai Bhatawadekar.
