Kaulani Mahina (the Hawaiian Lunar Calendar) has helped to keep humans and nature in harmony for centuries. Tom Pena from Ho Mai Kapono presents the Kaulana Mahina Concept: Hawaiian Lunar Calendar. Over the course of consecutive Fridays in September, faculty, staff, and students are invited to the Math+Science+x Seminar.
Pena will introduce the concept of the Hawaiian Lunar Calendar on Sept. 2, and how the calendar is used on Sept. 9.
