COE Convocation 2016

May 13, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Andrews Outdoor Theatre

The COE Convocation is a time for COE graduates to be recognized for their commitment to education, and for graduates to recognize the support they have received from family, friends, mentors, faculty, and others. This is a special event honoring COE graduates and the people that have supported them, and is not to be confused with the campus-wide UH Manoa Graduation (Commencement held on May 14). Each graduate’s cohort coordinator or faculty advisor will read aloud a statement of appreciation that the graduate composes ahead of time (cards will be provided, 30 word limit). Graduates may invite their family, friends, mentors, and others to attend this festive evening.

Upon arrival, graduates are to report to the seating area in front of the stage and will be seated there throughout the event. Aloha attire is recommended. Guest seating is available on the concrete benches and on the grass. Guests may wish to bring cushions, lawn chairs, or blankets. Picnics and coolers are welcome (no alcohol permitted). Please bring umbrellas in case of rain.
