Honolulu Community College's Ka Māla o Niuhelewai Fifth Annual Hoʻolauleʻa

It has been five years since the start of Ka Māla o Niuhelewai (The Garden of Niuhelewai) and the kalo (taro) is ready to be harvested. Come down to the māla on Wednesday, April 13th from 10:30am to 12:30pm or until food runs out.

Enjoy Hawaiian mele (music) and food

Other activities: kuʻi ʻai (pound poi), launiu (coconut leaf) weaving, lei lāʻī making, and kōnane games.

In the theme of sustainability and mālama ʻāina, bring your reusable water bottles and eating containers.
