(Indiana U) Quarks in China: Past, Present, Future
The Beijing Spectrometer (BES) has been collecting data from electron and positron collisions for the last 25 years. This prolonged effort has led to a diverse range of discoveries and precision measurements, refining and clarifying our understanding of the fundamental constituents of nature. In
this talk, I will present a selection of physics highlights from the BES Experiments, covering both historical and current developments. I will also outline the current discussions taking place in China to build new
experimental facilities that could carry these studies into the future.
