What happens if we think of gender not as a binary (male/female) but as a spectrum that allows for other identities in between? What happens if we think of gender not as something we passively have or are assigned by society, but as something we actively do or perform, based on our own sense of self? This presentation seeks to open a conversation about gender by looking at the work of some performance artists who engage these issues.
Presented by Dr. Marcia Roberts-Deutsch.
