Designing and Planting a Small-scale Succulent Garden

January 9, 9:30am - 11:30am
Mānoa Campus, Lyon Arboretum, 3860 Manoa Rd.

A succulent garden can grow in any kind of container with good drainage. Seashells, baskets, rocks, old lunch boxes or your favorite teacup. Bring a fabulous or unusual item to use as the base or container for your garden. Liz Keller will demonstrate the key elements of design and selection, as well as proper planting techniques. Bring your own container (no larger than an 8” pie pan).

Potting supplies (cinders and potting mix) are included in the class supply fee. A selection of small succulents for small gardens will be available for purchase after the demonstration, but participants are also welcome to bring their own succulents to plant.

$15 + $15 supply fee. Class size limited, registration required.
