Mānoa Campus, Queen Liliʻuokalani Center for Student Services Room 412 Add to Calendar

We invite you to join a student-focused discussion on free speech, university rules, and responsible speech. The piko of this gathering is to think about how we move from fear to empowerment, grounded in pilina, during ongoing changes in our national political climate. Following some opening questions with the panel, there will be an interactive session for participants to share reactions and responses to hypothetical scenarios. All are welcomed to attend, including students, faculty, and staff. Presenters: Lauren Robel, Lecturer in Law, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law, & Camaron Miyamoto, EdD, Director of the LGBTQ+ Center, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Please register at https://go.hawaii.edu/8GL. Light refreshments will be provided.
