The purpose of Kawehena Project's Ho‘oliuliu (Preparation) Series is to provide students with the opportunity to engage in programming that addresses their needs holistically: personally/ culturally, professionally, and academically. Events and workshops are typically facilitated by Native Hawaiian instructors and allies in a variety of disciplines. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. Intended Learning: This session is designed to help you strengthen your voice and support your academic journey. Feeling nervous about navigating conversations with instructors, advisors, or mentors? This workshop will empower you with tools and strategies to organize your thoughts and communicate your needs confidently.
