This interactive workshop explores the timely intersection of climate change, social health, and Native Hawaiian knowledge systems by confronting the huliau of 2025. As climate change impacts ecosystems, public health, and communities across Hawaiʻi, a focus on addressing social and cultural determinants of health is needed. At the City and County of Honolulu, numerous strategies and actions are underway to create a more resilient Oʻahu for generations to thrive now and in the future. Based in Hōʻaeʻae, Oʻahu, Kealoha previously served as president of the Institute for Climate and Peace and Director of Health Equity at AlohaCare.
